Michael Essien’s agent Fabien Piveteau has revealed that they have received a winter bid from Turkish side Trabzonspor for the Ghanaian enforcer.
Piveteau who represents Essien alongside US-based Clavijo Soccer Agency confirmed to Calcionews24, “Essien is a target of Premier clubs. We have received proposals from Turkish team Trabzonspor.”
Piveteau added: “In fact, we have also met several times about it. Essien is currently a Milan player, but it shows the future of what we do not know.”
The 32-year-old midfielder who is under contract at Milan until next summer has also been linked to a number of clubs in the MLS including FC Toronto.
