New Chelsea signing Cesc Fabregas announced his arrival in blue with this stunning pass to a streaking Andre Schurrle for Chelsea’s second goal against Burnley on Monday afternoon.
The goal started with a sublime dribbling effort by Eden Hazard, who sent the ball out wide. A cross came in to Fabregas’ feet, and for a second it looked like he would shoot the ball. He didn’t shoot it though, and with a soft touch I still haven’t really wrapped my mind around, he played the ball through the defense and Schurrle slotted home.
The vision, the touch and the execution are just mind-boggling.
Also, love that short hair cut on Fabregas. Gives him an edge.
